Program
16 Dec. Day 1 Transfer Bishkek – Bel Tam
Meeting in Bishkek, direct transfer to the south shore of Issyk Kul.
Visit of Burana tower site, on the ruins of the ancient Karakhanid’s capital, Balasagyn.
Lunch in Tokmok, today you will have a chance to taste real Dungan food.
After the last cup of tea with your hosts, you will make your way to Konorcheck Canyons for a 2-3-hour trek into the dry canyon with great views.
Later in the day, you will be able to see the amazing Lake Issyk Kul with its crystal-clear water and countless snow caped peaks all around you.
After the sun sets, you will be able to enjoy a Kyrgyz national dish with your hosts. Overnight in the yurt.

17 Dec. Day 2 Bel Tam – Ak Tash Yurt camp
In the morning, make sure you have your camera ready for a great local experience. You will meet with a berkutchi, an eagle hunter who will tell about his passion and show his eagles, he will share his traditions and techniques of hunting with Golden Eagles.
Then, you will make your way to another hidden valley in Issyk Kul, Chon Kyzyl Suu valley. Its name "the big red water" the gorge got because water in a river at the bottom of it seems to be red. The reason for this phenomenon is red clay coloring the water.
Lunch in the village Kyzyl Suu, today you will enjoy a Uighur cuisine.
Upon arrival to our cozy Ak Tash yurt camp, building yurts with your hosts, discover the symbolism of a traditional Kyrgyz yurt and learn the importance of yurts for nomads, then enjoy a tea and snack inside the yurt once you're done! Overnight in the yurt.

18 Dec. Day 3 Yurt camp Ak Tash – Geophysical Station in Chong Kyzyl Suu.
After breakfast, ride on horses that will take you to the old geophysical station of Chong Kyzyl Suu, the old Soviet weather station at the bottom of the valley, built by the Germans in 1948. On the way back you can enjoy a bath in a natural hot springs.
Late afternoon back to the Ak Tash yurt camp. Overnight in the yurt.

19 Dec. Day 4 Geophysical Station in Chong Kyzyl Suu – Jeti Ogyz valley
After breakfast drive to one of the most famous valleys around Issyk Kul Lake Jeti-Oguz valley. Hiking for 2 hrs. to Kok Jaik Valley (valley of flowers), where you can walk around. You will get back to your guesthouse for accommodation.

20 Dec. Day 5 Jeti Oguz – Karakol - Bishkek
In the morning you will head to Karakol, formerly Przhevalsk, the fourth largest city in Kyrgyzstan, here you will visit Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Then Dungan Mosque.
Drive by the north shore of the lake. Lunch at Cholpon Ata. Late arrival in Bishkek. Farewell dinner national restaurant in Bishkek. Night in our cozy guesthouse.

21 Dec. Day 6 Goodbye Kyrgyzstan
